Metadata lets you add customised information to your diagram elements - such as a barrier’s type, condition, owner or location. It lets your organisation add extra meaning to elements and makes it easy to filter, analyse and report on what matters.
You can define metadata at three levels:
- Organisation metadata is available across every project and diagram.
- Project metadata is scoped to a single project and its diagrams.
- Diagram metadata is created within one diagram and applies only to elements in that diagram.
Diagram metadata can be linked to Organisation and Project metadata, keeping it in sync, or unlinked so it can be edited for that diagram only.
